NoName Patina Prep

Two copper enamels,
the top is prepared in just seconds with No Name.
Note the added clarity.
This is a powdered polishing compound for cleaning mokume-gane, sterling, shakudo, shibuichi, copper, brass, bronze, etc. prior to applying patina. Its combination of rounded abrasives and mild acid removes discolorations and oxides and leaves a soft, lusterous finish. Recent tests indicate that No Name is excellent for preparing copper for enameling. In many cases it may replace acid cleaning and pumice, while providing for a safer working engironment. No Name appears to leave no residue on the surface and does not interact with the enamels.

Mokume-gane partially prepped for patinas.

Baldwin's Patina
Specially formulated oxidizer for Shining Wave metals. Rubbing a small amount onto copper base alloys produces great colors. Copper turns rich brown and shakudo patinas a classic blue-black. Depending on how the solution is applied, shibuichi will turn gray to olive green. A very small amount goes a long way. Best of all, it does not color silver, gold or nickel alloys. Instructions included.
