Instructions: Niobium Mini Grabber |
|||
|
Use a firm plastic sheet about 1/16" thick. Never use metal! Cut a strip approximately 1/2" wide and 2" long. Drill two 7/32" holes at each end, with a drill press to assure vertical alignment. A MINI Grabber should press firmly into each hole. Plastic adhesive may be applied for permanent installation. This template may be modified to suit your individual needs. Your new Niobium MINI Grabber is the first holder produced for anodizing Niobium. The special tip is made from Niobium wire. It can be used to hold Niobium and Titanium for anodizing. It can safely be submerged up to where the lettering starts on the shaft. Above this point the stainless steel spring will be conductive which may slow the anodizing process and eventually dissolve the spring. Use the diagram as a guide to build holders for multiple MINI Grabbers. This holder will make it easy to do multiple pieces that match. The special stacking banana plugs on each Grabber make it simple to plug in as many as you need. |
